Biographical/Historical Note

Marlena A. Daher-Rahman is the current Associate Director at the State University of New York (SUNY) Syracuse Educational Opportunity Center in Syracuse, New York. She has a Master of Science in Instructional Design from Syracuse University and serves on the SUNY Board of Trustees Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Scope/Content Note

The Marlena Daher Collection of Lebanese Immigrant Materials is made up of both physical items and digital records that belonged to Lebanese immigrants who came to the United States throughout the 1900s. Items in the collection include photographs, books, pamphlets, and clothing. Many of the books and pamphlets included in this collection are related to religious groups, and several others are related to tourism in Lebanon.
